As before, isolation will not be required for arrivals from Finland, Cyprus, Estonia and Latvia.

In total, it will be possible to come to Lithuania as of Monday without isolation from eight countries of the European Union, where the incidence rate of coronavirus in the last 14 days did not exceed 25 cases per 100,000. population.

The isolation and coronavirus test will be applied to arrivals from 18 EU countries and four non-EU European countries.

These are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, as well as San Marino, Monaco, Andorra, United Kingdom and Switzerland.

When Lithuanian citizens return from these countries, such a study is not mandatory, but 14 days of isolation is still mandatory.

Foreigners from third countries are prohibited from entering Lithuania, except for the exceptions provided by the Government. When Lithuanian citizens come from third countries, self-isolation is necessary if the country is included in the list of affected countries.

As of Monday, countries affected by coronavirus will be considered those where the incidence exceeds 25 cases per 100,000 in two weeks. population, instead of 16 cases as before.

In addition, all travelers returning to or arriving in Lithuania on regular, special or charter flights by air, sea or land, must send their personal data electronically to the specialists of the National Center for Public Health (NVSC) from Tuesday.

This means that before boarding a plane, ferry, bus or train, a person will have to fill out a form on the NVSC website and present the confirmation received, the so-called QR code, at the time of boarding the vehicle.

In cases where a person has traveled independently by land, they must register with the NVSC electronically no later than 12 hours after the time of return or arrival in Lithuania.
