The exemption from the prohibition on the sale of alcoholic beverages on this day applies only to economic operators operating in public catering establishments.
The department recalls that in order to sell alcoholic beverages on this day, a cafeteria or bar must actually provide catering services, that is, bottle alcoholic beverages in the usual packaging (cups, glasses, etc.) of the cafeteria, allow customers consume alcoholic beverages only locally. You cannot sell alcoholic beverages to go.
According to data from the NTAKD, fewer violations of this insurance are detected: in 2017, 5 cases of violations were detected, in 2018 – 9, in 2019. – 6.
It is also mentioned that a similar trend for alcohol intoxication is observed on this day: 3 cases were detected in 2017, 6 in 2018, 3 of them were minor, in 2019. – 1 case and no less. According to the NTAKD report, these positive changes are related not only to a more socially responsible business attitude and behavior, but also to the growing awareness of the population about the problems of alcohol consumption.
It is reported that, as every year, on September 1, NTAKD will pay special attention to the monitoring and supervision of alcoholic beverage outlets, and violations are expected to be prevented.
The Alcohol Control Law imposes financial penalties of € 289 to € 868 for companies that violate this prohibition, and fines of € 868 to € 1,448 for offenses committed within two years of the imposition of the fine.
