The TS-LKD list leader noted that simple and easy-to-solve problems are long overdue; Today we have very serious and complex problems and one of the most serious: mistrust between us.

According to the TS-LKD report, politicians running for Seimas in Klaipeda unanimously emphasized the importance of politics based on trust, dialogue and a clear consensus.

The draft TS-LKD electoral program raises the 7 main challenges currently facing Lithuania: faltering democracy and chaotic public governance, unequal opportunities and different starting positions for our children, an unbalanced health care system, a model economic exhaustion, rising unemployment, deepening social exclusion and demographic winter, threats to statehood, and irresponsible and environmentally damaging activities.

For each of these 7 challenges, TS-LKD also offers specific solutions: for weak democracy and chaotic governance: slower legislation and agreement-based policies, restoration of prestige to work for the state, establishment of a new Western standard services, e. expansion of services, unequal opportunities and different starting positions – quality early childhood education accessible to all children, the Millennium Gymnasium project, the Teacher’s Future Package 2025, more professional opportunities for all and a second chance program.

By addressing the issue of an unbalanced health care system, the Lithuanian Christian Democrats of the National Union will increase the independence and competencies of family doctors, propose to reorganize or modify the profile of district hospitals according to the needs specific district, improve working conditions for medical staff and residents, establish a “super hospital” and prepare for future pandemics.

To meet the challenge of a depleted economy, conservatives propose thinking not just about how to divide the money, but how to do it. It is planned to focus resources on priority industrial areas and establish the Lithuanian Strategic Investment Fund, which would intentionally finance innovations, research and modernization of traditional industry, establish Lithuania as a center for biological and health technology, strengthen scientific potential and implement the program. the growth center.

Rising unemployment and deepening social exclusion will ensure the stability of the pension system and increase pensions, offer a package of opportunities for young families, enable the potential of older people, and individualize and digitize social services.
