The National Public Health Center (NVSC) reports that 22 cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were confirmed yesterday in Lithuania. 7 of them are registered in Kaunas, 5 – in Vilnius, 4 – in Klaipėda counties. At that time, yesterday 3 cases were confirmed in Panevėžys, in Šiauliai – 2, in Tauragė – 1.

NVSC reports that one of these people works in the Department of Children’s Rehabilitation of the Republican Hospital of Kaunas “Žibutė”. Another 15 children who had no direct contact with the infected person but who communicated with each other were hospitalized in the same body. All children are tested for coronavirus infection.
