“These stories (due to unanswered responses – BNS) from the time that electronic health was not working, when the Registration Center servers were interrupted, but now everything is resolved. Those who did the survey, entering the period in that e-health was not working, they still do not get answers. As everything now has to be entered manually into e-health, that process takes a bit, “Greta Beinaravičiūtė, the hotline coordinator, told Lithuanian radio on Monday.
She reiterated that responses cannot be received by those whose responses are negative, since positive surveys result in people being informed immediately when contacted by phone, and negative responses are automatically generated and sent via SMS via a electronic system. This data provision has been interrupted due to electronic health, which has been inactive for almost a week.
When asked if those people, who did not receive the research results, had an opportunity to find out the results of their responses by calling somewhere, the specialist said it was difficult to answer this.
“There were no decisions that people could turn to. In the public statement of the Ministry of Health, it was said that if you are not contacted within a few days, the answer will probably be negative,” said G. Beinaravičiūtė.
However, the specialist admitted that she had heard about cases in which no responses were received from the institutions and those whose results were positive.
“I have heard of such cases, so we dare not say so clearly that if you are not contacted, it is ‘negative,'” the hotline said.
According to her, the hotline, which registers for the investigation and advises on self-isolation after returning from affected countries, currently receives an average of about 3,000 people per day. calls, about a thousand callers want to register for the surveys. Around 30 employees work shifts, since July they do it without the help of volunteers and answer all calls.
