Residents are forced to pay for private medical services: they ensure that there is simply no other way out

Is it true that working Lithuanians who pay their wages for compulsory health insurance (PSD) have to receive treatment in private medical institutions, because due to various conditions they cannot enter the state? Most of the patients who met at the door of one of the private clinics in Vilnius said they saw no other way out.

“If I need to write recipes because something hurts, I can get those services. However, if you want to see a specialist, such as a surgeon, you must go to the outpatient clinic again. So it’s more difficult for me, “said a woman of respectable age.

He acknowledged that services provided in private remain expensive.

“Of course, if you need to go to the dentist, you also steal money from public and private clinics. I no longer understand where state discounts apply, just a good chat. More like a razor, so does a razor.

As much as you come, you do not accept, wait months and when you finally come, you do not remember what you came for. You turn when you are in pain, and when you get in line, you have forgotten what you came here for. ”

Another man claimed that state polyclinics can only issue a newsletter, and there are no more benefits from them. According to him, for the second consecutive month, he was unable to play anywhere due to hand problems.

“I don’t see the point of going there to send. I applied here because I hope to at least get the service. Sure, sorry for that money, but what will you do? Health is more expensive. I’ve been with my hand for two months and nobody is helping me I will pay the money better than I will torture. “

Another woman was also very outraged by the situation and explained that it was completely impossible to access doctors in a particular area outside of the private facilities.

“If we had signed up with a specialist before quarantine because there were really big health problems, it canceled everything, and now I have to re-register to get to the same specialists.” I have to wait again, the devil knows how many months I have been suffering from inhuman pain.

Feel like you need to get serious, because then you say it’s too late. Of course, such a mess is wrong, after all, if there are no polyclinic specialists, maybe I should send somewhere else? For example, to Santariškės? Then I get it. Anyway, I go to the Šeškinė polyclinic, but it is practically impossible to reach the specialists. ”

The patient agreed that it was expensive to pay for medical services out of pocket, but there was no other way out in such a situation.

“Well, if you get a shipment, then you can pay a little bit cheaper. But if you don’t understand, then there is a problem at all. This time I came with a shipment, but even if I had not received it, I would still have left because there is to do something. There is absolutely no responsibility on the part of the polyclinics when it comes to accessing specialists, “said the woman.

The students’ parents are also concerned: The mother of the three children said it was not yet clear when they could get the health certificates that would have to be presented at school.

“First, I signed up to work and waited a month, now I have registered the children with a doctor to obtain certificates for school, but it is not clear when it will be possible to obtain them because they did not even call. Now there is no possibility of reaching the clinic state outpatient, so I’d better pay the amount we paid for the PSD, I’d better pay myself and be private, because when I was sick, I went to the doctor in two days. I really can’t imagine when the health of the children will be checked. “

The man who rushed to a private clinic, who said the whole system is there, also spared no bitter words. Bardakas. It was also possible to see the queues at the reception at noon, and the doctor who went to work stated that they would not be short of patients after the abolition of the quarantine regime.
