“No, we have no information, we have not heard about it before and we have not received any information that Aleksandras Grigorjevičius had a coronavirus infection,” Peskov told reporters.

Lukashenko said Monday that he had a coronavirus infection with COVID-19, but that he had an asymptomatic form of the infection.

“In any case, all the Russians he interacted with are alive and well, everything is fine,” said a Kremlin spokesman.

On Tuesday Peskov told Russia’s Vladimir Putin news agency that he had no health problems.

“As for our president, we said yesterday that he is fine, that his health is good, as you can see, he is actively working,” Peskov said.

According to him, the head of state continues to undergo tests for coronavirus.

“If necessary, following the recommendations of the doctors, he, of course, is being investigated,” said Peskov.

The presidents of Russia and Belarus met in person on June 30 in Rzhev, where a monument to a Soviet soldier was unveiled.
