Skablauskaitė has established himself in his homeland, but is not realistic, does not record family stories (his father’s untimely death is marked only by clues), but focuses on the emotional connections and atmosphere of the area. Joniškis’ shopping, garden and details are incorporated into visionary paintings. At night, monsters, ghosts, and near-fashion ghosts play on a single farm. The inactive farm recalls the extinction of the family, the temporality of everything, minority moods obscure the landscapes.
