By forecasting beautiful weekend weather in Lithuania, the police will verify how residents are complying with quarantine requirements and will patrol in parks, near playgrounds, educational trails, near bodies of water and other places of attraction, reports LRT radio.
Police urge people not to forget to wear protective masks and not to demonstrate.
“Although the quarantine conditions are a bit free, hygiene, keeping distance, divination, wearing protective masks, all this is not eliminated and the police will continue to control this weekend,” Ramūnas Matonis, representative of the Police Department, told the LRT radio on Saturday morning.
According to him, the daily average of protocols for quarantine violations written this week was approximately 50.
“Those protocols are written less and less,” said a police spokesman.
Since early April, about 2,500 protocols have been issued for violated quarantine restrictions.
The health ministry said Friday that children from different families can play on playgrounds again, but the requirement to wear face shields and keep a distance remains.
