During the Festival of the Sea, traffic stops not only in Tilų, but also in Pilies Street, which also becomes the territory of the festival. All public transit transport will connect the banks of the Danish only through the Mokyklos Street Bridge.

The municipality notes that public transportation through the Biržai and Castle bridges will no longer operate from midnight on Friday. Passengers who normally travel through the old town will have to choose between crossing the Interchange Bridge and a stop on the interrupted route, or using crossings across the School Bridge to travel without a transfer.
The rebirth stop will move
The most convenient stops for the participants of the celebration, as every year, are Market and Revival.
The revival stop (heading north) will move to Herkaus Manto str. Starting Friday at 5 p.m. Building 2. Route buses, whose route will be shortened during the festival, will disembark passengers who have arrived at the festival at the Atgimimo stop (heading south), then turn at the intersection of Liepų and Herkaus Manto Streets and leave to accept passengers in the Tax Inspection. Buses in transit throughout the city will not stop at that temporary stop, they will stop in both directions at the municipal stop (see attached route diagrams).

Return night
On Friday and Saturday nights, both buses and shuttle taxis will last longer. Buses from downtown to the south and north will be able to return until 2 o’clock, shuttle taxis until 3 o’clock. On Sunday night, public transportation will close at midnight.

Safety recommendations
As the pandemic continued, public transport operators took additional safety measures during the celebration, as well as asked passengers to carefully take care of the health of their own passengers and others.

The bus from the southern part of the city to Melnrage will continue to operate with only one transfer.
For drivers
It will not be possible to get to the party area by car. It is recommended to park in the allowed places outside the paid parking area and go to the party by public transport. In addition to the festival area itself, where car traffic is prohibited, there are also street sections where only public transportation will be entitled to travel (beginning of Taikos Avenue to Sausio 15th Street, Liepų Street section of the street J.Karoso to Herkaus Manto street, Herkus Manto section of S. Daukanto to Liepų street).
