In Kaunas County, outbreak-related cases were recorded on the last day at Kaunas Clinics, Kaunas University of Health Sciences, Kaunas Prison Hospital, Raseiniai Hospital, Kaunas “Akacijų Care Home Užuovėja ”, Čekiškės Home for Social Care and Assistance. In Telšiai County, 39 cases related to the outbreak were recorded in the Stonaičiai welfare home in Plungė district on the last day. The 37 people for whom the infection was confirmed on Wednesday are residents of this institution, 2 – employees. A total of 42 cases related to this outbreak were recorded. Examination of all rooms and employees is organized, NVSC specialists work in the institution, the situation in the institution is assessed.
In addition, on the last day in Telšiai County, outbreak-related cases were reported at Plungė District Municipal Hospital, Plungė Business and Technology School, Šateikiai Basic School of Plungė District, at “Plungės vandenys” enterprise. Cases related to outbreaks were also registered at the Mažeikiai District Municipality Audit and Control Service, at the “Žemaitija Mental Health Center” operating in Telšiai, at the “Mažeikių Mėsinė” enterprise.

NVSC reports that information was received last day from medical institutions about 6 deaths from coronavirus. Currently, the infection has claimed 150 lives.
The first case of death was registered in Klaipeda County. The person belonged to the age group 70 to 79 years and suffered from chronic diseases. The coronavirus was confirmed in one person on October 25.
The second case of death was registered in Telšiai county. The person belonged to the 80-89 age group and suffered from chronic diseases. The coronavirus was confirmed in one person on October 21.
The third death was registered in Panevėžys county. The person belonged to the 80-89 age group and suffered from chronic diseases. The coronavirus was confirmed to the person on October 23.
The fourth death was in Marijampolė County. The person belonged to the age group of 50 to 60 years and suffered from chronic diseases. The coronavirus was confirmed to the person on October 18.
The fifth case of death was in Utena County. The person belonged to the age group 70 to 79 years and suffered from chronic diseases. The coronavirus was confirmed to the person on October 28.
The sixth case of death was registered in Marijampolė County. The person belonged to the 90-99 age group and had chronic diseases. The coronavirus was confirmed to the person on October 16.
In addition, on the last day there were 3 deaths (2 in Šiauliai and one in Kaunas counties), when those infected with coronavirus died from other causes.
