Of the 91 new coronavirus cases, 46 were reported in Kaunas County, mostly related to the outbreak at the Kaunas State Musical Theater, the National Public Health Center (NVSC) reported on Wednesday.
There were also 19 cases in Šiauliai, 16 in Vilnius, eight in Panevėžys and one in each of Telšiai and Tauragė counties.
After contact with patients, according to epidemiologists, 72 people became infected, of which 59 cases were associated with outbreaks.

“The worst situation is in the county of Šiauliai and Raseiniai specifically … Anyway, there are about 80 officers in the police who are in self-isolation and thirty few who have coronavirus,” the minister told LRT radio on Thursday .
On Wednesday, COVID-19 was approved for 115 people. 55 of the identified cases were registered in Kaunas, 22 in Vilnius, 19 in Šiauliai, 6 in Telšiai and Klaipėda, 4 in Panevėžys, 2 in Alytus and 1 in Marijampolė counties.
On Thursday, it was also reported that a Lithuanian railway employee, an employee of the Lithuanian post in Panevėžys, had contracted the coronavirus and the virus had spread in Druskininkai municipality and hospital.
