8 Seimas commissions have their own leaders

By decision of the Seimas, Bronislovas Matelis, a member of the Seimas TS-LKD faction, became vice president of the Anti-Corruption Commission.

The Seimas Energy and Sustainable Development Commission will be chaired by Seimas Conservative member Justinas Urbanavičius.

The chairman of the Seimas Youth and Sports Affairs Commission is Virgilijus Alekna, a member of the Seimas Liberal Movement faction, and the vice chairman of the Commission is the “employee” member of the Seimas Viktoras Fiodorovas.

The conservative deputy of the Seimas Kęstutis Masiulis was approved as chairman of the Seimas Parliamentary Control Commission of Criminal Intelligence, and the Social Democrat Kęstutis Vilkauskas, a member of the Seimas, was approved as vice-president.

The Commission for the Struggles for Freedom and the Historical Memory of the State will be chaired by Valdas Rakutis, a member of the Seimas TS-LKD faction.

Monika Ošmianskienė, a member of the Seimas Freedom Faction, became the chair of the Seimas Commission on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Seimas Petitions Commission also has its own leaders. The conservative Edmundas Pupinis, a member of the Seimas, became its president, and Eugenijus Sabutis, a Social Democrat and a member of the Seimas, became its vice president.

The Seimas Commission for the Prevention of Suicide and Violence will be chaired by the conservative member Andrius Navickas.
