Three new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Vilnius Gabija Progymnasium students who were in isolation. There are currently 12 cases associated with the outbreak. Primary students study at this educational institution in the usual way, from fifth to eighth grade, at a distance.

In Šiauliai, the coronavirus was confirmed to an employee of the sewing company Interscalit. A total of 40 people were diagnosed with the infection.
Two new cases of the disease have been identified in Klaipėda County. One case is associated with a family vacation, the eighth infected. The second – with fireplace in Klaipedos Energija. That’s 11 sick.
At that time, a case related to Kaunas Technology Dormitory (KTU) was registered in Kaunas on the last day. So far there have been two related cases. According to preliminary data, 32 people from the KTU community have been exposed and are currently undergoing a risk assessment.
Last day, a chimney-related case in Vilnius county was registered in the transport company Opus Auto. It is a secondary infection that affects a total of three people.
In addition, 11 other people, according to epidemiologists, became infected after contact with people who were confirmed to have coronavirus, but who were not considered sources of infection.
One of these people is a student at the Švenčionys Zigmas Žemaitis gym. No contacts were found at the school because the person was in isolation due to the high risk of contact with the infected person.
At this time, epidemiologists have not yet been able to determine how 16 people were infected.
Two import cases were identified in Vilnius County: from Russia and the United Kingdom. An import case has been approved from Belarus in Kaunas County and from Ukraine in Klaipeda.
A total of 3,442 cases of COVID-19 disease have been confirmed in Lithuania, 1,216 people are still ill, 2,125 have recovered.
A total of 87 people died from COVID-19 and 14 people died from other causes.
