The highest number of deaths was found in Kaunas County at the age of nine months, from 60 to 99 years. Eight mons die in Klaipda County. They were between 50 and 99 years old. Seven deaths were recorded in iauli county. The dead were 5089 years old.
The coronavirus continues to spread in hospitals, nursing homes, new outbreaks registered in educational institutions, the National Center for Public Health (NVSC) reported on Tuesday.
The highest number of new COVID-19 cases was recorded in Kaunas 387 county on Monday. 328 cases were detected in Vilnius county, 189 in Klaipda.
According to the NVSC, 802 cases were epidemiologically diagnosed Monday. The circumstances of the infestation of 108 companies are unclear.
Situation in hospitals
The hospital is treating 2,154 COVID-19 patients, 161 in resuscitation, the Department of Statistics reports Tuesday.
Oxygen is required for 1,160 patients, 93 companies are subjected to artificial hair ventilation.
About half of the hospital beds were occupied Tuesday morning: 8,470 to 16,632.
