Next to the building, 600 parking spaces and a multi-storey warehouse are planned.

According to A. Grigaras, an important part of the investment is destined to infrastructure, which will be transferred to the city.

“We have planned a transportation scheme around the supermarket to make the connection as convenient as possible. A viaduct will be built to access the Western Bypass, and the surrounding streets and traffic lights will be redesigned to optimize traffic and increase traffic. Part of the plots near the center will be handed over to the municipality, which will adapt them to the needs of the residents, ”he says.

Due to the uneven terrain of the plot, the building will have two floors, in which there will be different tenants.

The shopping center is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2022.

Previously, the Finnish capital company Vicus was planning a project for the Olinda shopping center in the area, but in 2009 it stalled. In 2017, the territory was acquired by Dakus.

Dakus shares are owned by Patrikas Žala, Giedrius Barysas, Dainius Gurevičius and Vaidas Kaulius through other companies, according to data from the Records Center compiled by VŽ.
