Weezer have shared a new song titled “Beginning of the End (Wild Stallyns Edit),” which appears on the soundtrack for Bill & Ted Face the Music. The soundtrack also includes tracks from Mastodon, Cold War Kids, Lamb of God, FIDLAR, Culture Wars, and, of course, Bill and Ted’s band Wild Stallyns. Bill & Ted Face the Music (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) arrives August 28 (via 10K Projects); the film will be released the same day. The film marks the long-awaited third installation in the Bill & Ted row, to the original The wonderful adventure of Bill & Ted, and his sequel, Bogus Journey by Bill & Ted. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are back to surprise their roles as time-traveling rockers Bill and Ted. Kid Cudi also has a role in the film, which follows Bill and Ted as they try to compose a song to keep the universe from exploding.
