Listen to Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut album: Listen

It is a bittersweet symphony. Fans have finally been treated to Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut album, Shoot the stars, aim for the moon.

Today (July 3), the family and team of the late rapper release their debut album. The 19-track LP includes 50 Cent, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Tyga, Quavo, and more. Shoot the stars, aim for the moon It also contains Pop’s Billboard Hot 100 single “Dior” (No. 30), as well as “Make it Rain” with Rowdy Rebel and “The Woo” with 50 and Roddy, which Fif joked earlier this month through social networks.

The LP was initially slated for release in early June. However, their arrival was delayed after Steven Victor, the director of Pop’s record label, Victor Victor Worldwide, announced that the album would be delayed due to civil unrest taking place across the country.

The album was produced by 50 Cent. In March, Fif promised to finish the beloved rapper’s album.

“I’m on the move listening to Pop smoke, I decided I’m going to produce and finish his executive album for him. # Abcforlife #starzgettheapp #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac,” wrote 50 in the caption of his post.

This project serves as the third release in the Pop Smoke catalog. In 2019, the Brooklyn rapper introduced his debut mixtape, Meet the Woo. The effort hosted his acclaimed hit song “Welcome to the Party,” which has been certified by the RIAA. “Dior”, also on the project, has achieved platinum status. His second tape Meet Woo 2, fell earlier this year in February, 12 days before his tragic death on February 19.
