Messi presents a new ultimatum to the Barcelona board
Lionel Messi has lost his cool with Barcelona for the first time after spending 20 long years at Camp Nou. However, Messi’s anger and outrage can be justified since the club is no longer what it was before.

The past five seasons have seen Barça gradually fall into the total mess it is today, while Real Madrid’s arch rivals have revolutionized over the years into an unstoppable force. The Catalans won their fifth and final Champions League title in 2015 and since then Real Madrid have conquered the top of Europe three consecutive times.
Given the current situation prevailing at the Camp Nou, it seems that Barça could become the next AC Milan or Manchester United. Without Lionel Messi in the team, this team has no choice, since they depend entirely on the Argentine striker.
The only three featured artists for the Blaugrana have been Lionel Messi, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Clement Lenglet. However, a team cannot achieve success or cutlery since soccer is not an individual game but a team sport.
Lionel Messi has considered not renewing his career that will expire in the summer of 2021 and there is absolutely no reason why Messi should stay with a club that is about to become a mid-table team.
What Barcelona requires is a complete change from the players to the club staff and that is what Messi has demanded in his new ultimatum.
The new ultimatum proposed by Lionel Messi
Diaro GOL reports that the Barça captain first demanded the departure of five team players. Messi believes that these five players only accrue the club salary and have little or no impact. The five players are Ousmane Dembele, Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Nelson Semedo and Junior Firpo.
Leo hopes that the departure of the five players will generate enough funds to sign Lautaro Martínez and Neymar, who has been a desired figure at the Camp Nou for a long time. Emerson Royal has also been included as the right back is available for just € 12m and would be a great addition for the club on defense.
Since Quique Setien does not make the captain’s plans next season, the Argentine striker has shortlisted former Barça player Xavi Hernández, however, the Spaniard has already signed a contract extension with Al-Sadd and it seems highly unlikely that Xavi breaks his contract.
However, this is the ultimatum that Messi has presented as an offer or leave it. The captain certainly wants the best for Barça, however if positive changes are not made Messi will leave in 2021.
