Lin-Manuel Miranda’s wife doesn’t like to share her husband when it comes to affection on stage with his Hamilton love interests.

Vanessa Nadal opened up and shared about how she reacts when Miranda’s titular character kisses someone during the hit Broadway musical.

“I always boo when Lin kisses someone else on stage, and the people sitting around me look at me like a crazy person,” he confessed as he tweeted during the debut of Hamilton’s film version at Disney + on Friday.

In a fun twist on his acting jealousy, Nadal shared about how his oldest son Sebastian once reminded him that he had forgotten to boo one of the other artists who had kissed his father.

“You missed the fourth kiss,” said Sebastian. ‘He is counting. Thanks boy, ” he wrote.

Miranda, who plays Alexander Hamiltonl, shares kisses with the characters of Elizabeth Hamilton by Phillipa Soo and Maria Reynolds by Jasmine Cephas Jones.

The remake of the Tony Award-winning and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical was filmed at the Richard Rodgers Theater on Broadway in 2016.

Hamilton tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, and presents Music that comes largely from hip-hop, as well as R&B, jazz, soul, pop, and traditional-style show tunes.

A previous synopsis described it as “an American story told by the United States now.”

The War of Independence, Immigration and the financial system of the United States are just some of the shocking themes that are shown in the production.

The film features the entirety of the main original cast and is made up of people of color, with the exception of Jonathan Groff, who plays the comic role of King George III.

Along with Miranada and her love interests, she also stars Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr, Renee Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler, Christopher Jackson as George Washington, Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette / Thomas Jefferson, Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan / James Madison and Anthony Ramos as John Laurens / Philip Hamilton.

Originally slated to hit theaters in October 2021, Disney decided to change course, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and launch the film on its subscription-streaming service on July 3.

Miranda and Nadal have been married since 2010 and share two children together: Sebastián, 5, and Francisco, 2.
