Lamborghini is almost ready to unveil the SCV12 as the company’s website features a revealing teaser image and a message saying “stay tuned.”
Starting with the image, you can see that the SCV12 is quite tough as its aggressive side skirts hug the ground. Elsewhere, there’s a carbon fiber front splitter and sleek LED lights with a distinctive octagonal shape.
While the dark teaser image hides some key details, the model will have a wedge-like design with a ceiling-mounted shovel. Other notable highlights include vented front fenders, a massive wing, and flaps behind the rear wheels.

The images above also show a ventilated hood, canards, and large side blades. There will also be a prominent diffuser and dual exhaust system.
While Lamborghini hasn’t spilled all the beans, the company has already said a lot about the limited-edition track car. In particular, the SCV12 will be mounted on a “new all-carbon fiber chassis that allows for a higher power-to-weight ratio, as well as the best circuit driving and driving experience.” The aggressive styling will also allow the model to produce more downforce than a GT3 race car.
Power will be provided by a naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 819 hp (610 kW / 830 PS). It will connect to a six-speed sequential transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Speaking of the latter, the SCV12 has 19-inch and 20-inch magnesium wheels that are wrapped in special Pirelli slicks.
It is unknown when the SCV12 will be unveiled, but it will definitely come soon, as Lamborghini has previously mentioned a summer launch.
