Leonardo DiCaprio and Camilla Moron are packed on Italian in the North End

Leonardo DiCaprio has kept a largely low profile since Adam McKay arrived in Boston for the Netflix K Don’t Madi movie “Doon Up Look Up”. DiCaprio and his girlfriend Camilla Moron were in the public eye on New Year’s Eve when they visited the North End to pick up a hearty Italian meal.

DiCaprio, Moron and another woman visited Table Mercato on Thursday afternoon, loading pasta, sauces, homemade potato chips, fig jam and other items from owner Jane Royal’s Italian shop. Royale, who runs Table Mercato and the adjoining Italian restaurant table, said DiCaprio was one of the first customers to need a basket to dispose of all his belongings, which she guessed was to stay at home.

“They stay, no one will go to dinner on New Year’s Eve,” Royal told Boston.com on Saturday afternoon. “They probably just wanted to load up the stuff, turn off the blinds and make cooking.”

Royal said she was busy working in the store’s basement when DiCaprio and Moron arrived, but the store’s employees and customers recognized the actor.

“People in the store said they only have pale eyes that they will never see,” Royal said. “You couldn’t mistake it for someone else even with a mask.”

After launching production on “Don’t Dock Up” in late November, DiCaprio and other cast members filmed Dec. 1 in Massachusetts, especially on South Station, while Stars and co-star Jennifer Lawrence filmed scenes on it. Acela train.
