Missouri City, Texas Hightower Receiver Latrell Neville He will play his college football in Nebraska. Lone Star State’s pass receiver announced his plans on July 4 on Saturday.
6-foot-3-inch, 195-pound Neville is 11th for the coach Scott Frost and its staff in the class of 2021.
“I would say what made them right for me is the way they see me playing on the new offense and the way I was recruited by the new offensive coordinator Coach (Matt) Lubick and Coach Frost, “Neville told 247Sports.
Neville is a former Virginia Tech member who reopened the process in June. Nebraska caught fire quickly in the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
Other schools Neville said he considered include Florida, Missouri, and West Virginia. He posted his engagement news on social media.
“I want to thank God for blessing me with the talent to play the game I love at the college level,” Neville wrote on Twitter. “Today marks the beginning of a new journey in my career with constant prayer and the guidance I have received from my friends, family and coaches close to me, this decision would not be possible.
“I would like to thank all the universities and their coaching staff for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to advance my academic and athletic career at their institution. I am eternally grateful.
“That said, after careful deliberation, I would like to announce that I will commit to and bring my talents to the University of Nebraska.”

Neville is the second receiver to commit to Frost and his staff in this cycle, joining Camden County Pass receiver in Kingsland, Georgia, Shawn Hardy.
