Larry King has been hospitalized in Covid-19


King, 87, has been hospitalized at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for more than a week. Due to hospital protocol, King’s three sons were unable to visit him, according to the source.

King of Type 2 Diabetes has had a series of medical problems over the years, including several heart attacks in 1987 and quintuple bypass surgery. He also took action to address Angina in 2019.
His own medical issues inspired him to start a for-profit, Larry King Cardiac Foundation to help provide medical care to people without health insurance.

King has hosted CNN’s “Larry King Live” for 25 years, visiting presidential candidates, celebrities, athletes, movie stars and everyday people. He retired in 2010 after tapping more than 6,000 episodes of the show.

But he couldn’t stay off the airwaves for long.

According to Forbes, in 2012, he hosted the three-weekly show “Larry King Now” on Aura TV. According to Forbes, he co-founded the on-demand digital network with Mexican telecommunications mogul Carlos Slim.
Last year, King’s two adult children died within weeks of each other. His son, Andy King, 65, died of a heart attack in late July, followed by King’s 52-year-old daughter Chaiya King, who died in August shortly after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
King’s Twitter feed, kingsthings, Has 2.4 million followers. His most recent tweet was on November 26, when he wished his followers a happy Thanksgiving.
