Larimer County adds 14 new cases of coronavirus, 2 outbreaks – Loveland Reporter-Herald


Larimer County on Wednesday confirmed 13 new and added one likely coronavirus case for a cumulative number of 1,669 since March.

Two new outbreaks were added to the list for 37 total, with 14 active and 23 resolved.

The Larimer County Department of Health and the Environment updates daily statistics on its website.

The new outbreaks include 10 patients and one employee at Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of the Rockies in Fort Collins, who are confirmed to have COVID-19 and four employees at Culver’s on South Lemay Avenue in Fort Collins.

The largest active outbreaks are at Seven Lakes Memory Care Center in Loveland with 28 confirmed cases and five deaths among residents and 19 confirmed cases among employees and at the athletics department of Colorado State University with 24 confirmed cases and one probable case.

Ten of the 14 new cases of COVID-19 are residents of Fort Collins, and the rest are a 36-year-old Loveland woman, a 42-year-old Loveland man, a 55-year-old Estes Park man and a 63-year-old -old Estes Park Mrs.

The oldest of those added to the list on Wednesday is 78, and the youngest are a 10-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, all from Fort Collins.

The death toll remained unchanged at 36, and the number of suspected cases remained unchanged at 413.
