“Free Woman” is Gaga’s ninth top 10.
Lady Gaga extends her brand for most of the top 10 among female acts on Billboard’s Hot Dance / Billboard electronic song list, earning her ninth spot as “Free Woman” climbs 12-10 on the ranking dated 27 of June.
The track drew nearly all of its activity from its 2 million U.S. broadcasts in the week ending June 18, according to Nielsen Music / MRC Data.
Among the women, Gaga’s top nine 10s dating from the creation of January 2013 outnumber Ellie Goulding, Nicki Minaj, and Bebe Rexha, each with five. Overall, The Chainsmokers leads with 19 top 10s.
“Free Woman” is Gaga’s sixth top 10 Hot Dance / Electronic Songs from her new LP Chromatica, which rules Top Dance / Electronic Albums for the third week. The song follows “Stupid Love” (No. 1 for three weeks in March); “Rain on Me”, with Ariana Grande (No. 1, two weeks, June); “Sour Candy”, with BLACKPINK (No. 3, June); “Alice” (No. 7, June) and “911” (No. 10, June).
Also on Hot Dance / Electronic Songs, the collaboration of Canadian DJ Dzeko and country superstar Keith Urban “Both Still Young” begins at number 37. Dzeko’s third entry, the song marks Urban’s first foray on any hit list. Billboard dance. At the same time, it prostrates at number 13 in digital dance / electronic song sales, selling 1,000 downloads.
Urban owns 16 Hot Country Songs No. 1, among 39 top 10s, dating from his arrival on the chart in 1999.
On Top Dance / Electronic Albums, Chromeo corners his 24th debut with Casanova quarantine, which starts with 2,000 equivalent album units. The law traces its fifth title, after its first two numbers 1, Upside down (June 2018) and White women (May 2014).
The new set contains a five song division with vocals and five instrumental versions of those songs, including titles with pandemic themes such as “6 Feet Away” and “Stay in Bed (And Do Nothing)”. One song, “Clorox Wipe”, collected 268,000 home streams, causing its 50th entry in Hot Dance / Electronic Songs.
