Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with shooting dead two Protestants

The teenage guard who allegedly shot two Black Lives Matter protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was hit Thursday with numerous charges.

Kenosha County prosecutors charge Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, with one count each of first-degree intentional manslaughter, first-degree reckless manslaughter and one count of attempted first-degree willful manslaughter, court records show.

He was also accused of two counts of reckless intimidation, and of possessing a dangerous weapon as a minor.

The teenager from nearby Antioch, Illinois, was arrested Wednesday in connection with a shooting that led to the deaths of 26-year-old Anthony Huber, and Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, a father of a young daughter.

The lone victim to survive the massacre has been identified as Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, a volunteer doctor for Black Lives Matter protests in Milwaukee over the summer.

The gun broke out Tuesday, during protests over Jacob Blake’s police shooting.

Rittenhouse is being held in a juvenile detention facility in Lake County. He is due to appear in court Friday morning to make extradition to Kenosha.
