KVID NY UPDATE: State investigation into possible vaccine fraud Park Community Health Network

NEW YORK (WABC) – A New York-based medical provider is being investigated for allegedly obtaining and distributing a CVD-19 vaccine in a cut-off, the health commissioner said. Howard Zucker said in a statement on Saturday.

Zucker said the health department was made aware of reports about the Parker Community Health Network in Orange County.

Reports claim that the network somehow receives doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and transfers them to other facilities across the state in violation of state guidelines.

Also, these vaccines were given to members of the public and not to state-designated frontline healthcare workers or nursing home residents and staff.

“We take this very seriously and in this case the DOH will assist the state police in the criminal investigation. Anyone who knowingly participates in this scheme will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” Zucker said.

Eyewitness News found a special video of state police visiting a Parker office in Brooklyn on Saturday night.

Their site describes their work as a “multi-specialty center, providing services such as primary care, internal medicine, dermatology, gynecology, physical therapy and pediatrics; helping our patients maintain optimal health and prevent potential diseases.”

In October, New York’s Test and Trace Corps announced an expanded partnership with Parker to provide free COVID-19 testing and resources to the Orthodox Jewish community.

The Parker Community Health Network said in a statement on Saturday night:

During this unprecedented time, we have under the guidance of the New York State Department of Health strive to provide critical healthcare services to those who deserve to receive them and to carry COVID-19 vaccines, including frontline healthcare workers and first responders. The Parkcare Community Health Network, which has partnered with New York City, has a long history of providing vital healthcare services to New Yorkers who are most in need – including the Covid-19 test – especially for New Yorkers in medically underworld communities. , Which is very difficult. By COVID-19. As we actively cooperate with the New York State Department of Health in this matter, we will continue to provide high quality healthcare services to help New York recover from this epidemic.
