Kushner: US has ‘seen enough’ of Black Lives Matter protests going ‘too far’

Americans have seen “enough” of protests that “go too far,” senior White House adviser Jared Kushner said Thursday after being asked about deadly unrest in Kenosha, Wis., After the shooting of Jacob Blake by an officer of law enforcement.

“This country has seen enough of the protests and some of the negative things that can happen if the protests go too far or are hijacked,” Kushner told Politico in a video interview.

“You look at a lot of these cities, and you look at a lot of these politicians who spoke last week,” he said. “They have made many complaints, but many of these people have been here for decades and have done nothing.”

OBAMA, MEANS SUPPORT AGAINST NBA PLAYERS REFUSING TO RIGHT

“What we need to do now is make sure we take the anger that people have, and we need to move from slogans to constructive solutions,” Kushner said.

Kushner criticized NBA players who bowed in protest of games, claiming they were all talking and no action. Milwaukee Bucks players refused to play Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic in protest of the shooting. The other playoff games in the NBA were postponed, as were some regular season games in the WNBA and MLB.

KUSHNER Urges NBA PLAYERS TO FORMULATE ‘EMPHASIZE THE SOLUTIONS’ IN THE MIDDLE OF JACOB BLAKE STRIKE

“We offer policy solutions,” Kushner said. “The other side makes a lot of complaints. What I like to see from the players in the NBA is they have the luxury of taking the night off from their jobs. Most Americans do not have the financial luxury to do so. “
