Marco is the latest hot product from school and Lee tells Elle to take him to the kisses booth. In the trailer, Marco declines and seems to provoke something with Elle. Later, the two characters have a moment together on the beach.

At first, Marco questions Elle’s relationship with Noah. “Do you think you and Noah were meant to be together?” he says. In response, Elle says, “I always thought we were.” Then, in another take, Marco adds, “If I found someone smart, funny, and I like what I like, I’d hang on to them.”
