Republican Rep. Adam Kingsinger on Friday rejected the Supreme Court’s bid to overturn the results of the presidential election.
The Republican Party of Texas F. Texas rejected the court’s decision in a statement, in which President Lennon West suggested that “law-abiding states should unite and form a union of states that would abide by the constitution.”
Kingsinger, who represents the 16th District of Illinois, said in a tweet that the Texas GOPA “should immediately withdraw this, apologize, and fire Alan West and anyone else involved.”
“My guy Abraham Lincoln and the Union soldiers have already told you no,” he said.

Kingsinger has also criticized President Donald Trump and called his election-fraud allegations baseless.
The lawsuit, filed by Texas and joined by other Republican-led states, was a recent attempt by Trump’s allies to tamper with election results. The effort was seen as a legally questionable attempt to get judges to interfere in the democratic process.
This is the latest loss in the Trump campaign and defeat to Republican officials who have not won any lawsuits since election day.
