Gethsemane had little chance of hurting Nurmagomedov. At the end of the first round Nurmagomedov took Gethse down but he escaped the bell. Nurmagomedov quickly put Gethje in the bottom triangle chokehold.
Nurmagomedov opens the division of relegation and evacuation from the championship. Goethe, Tony Ferguson, Dustin Poyer, Dan Hooker, Paul Felder and Conor McGregor are potential fighters who could compete for the belt in the next few months and in 2021.
