Kellyanne Conway throws Buttigieg up: He and Biden have to go to Wisconsin to see violence on the ground

Former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden must travel to Kenosha, Wis., To see “what’s actually happening,” Kellyanne Conway, the president’s adviser, told Thursday “Fox & Friends” responded to remarks made by the former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate who has criticized President Trump.

On Wednesday, Buttigieg told “Special Report” that Trump is a “master of chaos” who has no interest in justice or peace in places like Kenosha.

Buttigieg added that “the president’s strategy obviously did not help, because all this chaos is happening on his watch.”

“This is very characteristic of Donald Trump’s living in America, and I think we’ll see more and more of it as long as he’s in the lead,” he continued.

Host Brian Kilmeade asked Conway Thursday if the unrest in cities like Kenosha is Trump’s fault as Buttigieg has claimed.

“No, and no one will buy that,” she said, noting that violence is happening in the Democratic leadership of cities and “mostly with Democratic rulers.”

“Republican President Donald Trump does not see this as a partisan issue, he is trying to send in federal reinforcement and you have told these governors, ‘Oh no,'” she continued. “They put their pride and their policies for public safety, and that makes no sense to everyday Americans who want law and order, who want public safety.”

Conway added, “It was really nice that Joe Biden ventured long after the violence, not only in the city of America, but the suburbs of America, Kenosha, Wis., Name grabs.”

“Maybe he [Biden] must go there himself and see [what it’s like] on the ground so he and Mayor Pete can see what’s really going on, ‘she continued.

Conway’s sarcastic remarks were in response to Biden’s condemnation of the violence in Kenosha, saying on Wednesday that “unnecessary violence will not cure us.”

BUTTY BLASTS TRUMP AS ‘MASTER OF CHOICE’ WITH NO ‘INTEREST IN JUSTICE OR PEACE’

The remarks of the former vice president came amid days of unrest in Kenosha after Jacob Blake, a Black man, was shot nearby by police in the city, leaving him partially paralyzed.

Biden’s statements came after Trump on Wednesday said he would send federal law enforcement and the National Guard to Kenosha to restore “law and order” after days of unrest in the city.

Conway insists the unrest is not on Trump’s watch.

“He is trying to get law and order restored,” she said, adding that she does not think Biden will actually “go to Wisconsin since the last time a Democratic nominee for president went to Wisconsin in 2012.”

‘He ignores the state, as does Hillary [Clinton] ignored state politics, and practically they all ignore the fact that Kenosha is on fire, ‘Conway continued.

In an exclusive interview with MSNBC on Thursday, Biden said he would consider traveling to Wisconsin in the wake of the violence that erupted in Kenosha following Blake’s police shooting.

Biden added that what he did not want to do was “part of the problem” and would ensure that the attempt was “done safely”. He also said that if he went, he would try to bring the White and Black communities together.

“We are so far from peaceful protests and this is why the President and Vice President yesterday made a strong case for public safety,” Conway said, referring to statements made by Vice President Mike Pence during his speech Wednesday night. on the Republican National Convention.

She also warned that the violence “could of course come to your own neighborhood.”

“I think Mayor Pete fully knows that the more chaos and anarchy and vandalism and violence prevails, the better it is for the very clear choice of who is best for public safety and law and order,” Conway said.
