Katy Perry may be just weeks away from her first child with Orlando Bloom, but she can still play a serious move.
The pop star, who is 8 months pregnant with a baby girl, got the chance to show off her skills – like her baby doll – after Bloom challenged her to dance to the beat of Nightcrawlers’ “Push The Feeling On”.
On August 7, Bloom shared an Instagram video in which Perry appears to be boxing in the front seat. ‘Honey, what a day it is,’ asks her fiancé, before playing the popular song. Perry then gets out of the car, pulls on her shirt and dances next to the car as Bloom continues (slowly) to drive forward.
Bloom can be heard laughing through the entire video and at one point Perry pulls jokes across her stomach. Watch the clip below for yourself:
This video comes one day after Perry called herself a “poopedstar” in a bright heart post on Instagram that shows the mom-to-be lounging in a gray hoodie and yoga pants while shopping for baby supplies. She even tagged the location cheekily as “I got it.”
Earlier this month, Katy Perry opened until Folk about her journey to motherhood, admitting she was “horrible” about the idea of having a child “two or three” years ago, but now & aposs they look forward to the “unintended love” she & aposll have from her baby feels.
“It was just, I know & apost knows how I will ever go [have a child]. That & aposs crazy. I can barely take care of myself! “Explained Perry.” I & aposm are really glad I had to check many boxes personally and professionally before I came to this place. “
As for the question of whether she thinks her baby girl will grow up from the arts like her and Bloom, Perry said she has absolutely no expectations.
“She has two very ambitious, loud, independent, free-thinking parents, so it & aposs will rub off. Or maybe she & aposs will completely renovate and be in the corner, very shy bookworm,” she said. “We & aposre just here to support her, and I & aposm sure they & aposre here just to teach us a lesson!”
