Kate Middleton steps out in sneakers and a cute green dress for a visit to a baby charity

From good family

It’s been a while since we’ve had Kate Middleton headband sports, but for a private visit to Baby Basics UK in West Norfolk, a charity that supports new moms and families in need by providing them with essentials such as toiletries, clothing and essential baby equipment the duchess stepped out in her signature accessory, which she paired with a green printed maxi shirt jacket and a casual pair of white sneakers.

After seeing the work that the organization was doing and meeting its needs, she laid a spearhead for a donation. Per Kensington Palace, 19 brands have donated items to Baby Basics, Little Village and AberNecessities, which operate baby banks in the UK.

Today, Kate helped unpack donations at another branch of charity, Baby Basics UK in Sheffield, where she also spoke with parents about the need for these resources in the community.

“In recent months, I have heard of families being supported by baby cribs through the most difficult times and I have been deeply moved by their stories,” Kate said in a statement. “Having somewhere to turn for support is important for all families, and babysitters work every day, up and around the country, to provide immediate, task and practical help to parents and carers when they are most in need.”

The Duchess of Cambridge also called on “incredible” work volunteers to keep these groups running.

“Baby benches are powered by incredible volunteers, and demonstrate the power of the community spirit in supporting families and coming together to raise the next generation. Thanks to the boldness of the companies involved in this initiative, baby banks in the UK can support even more families through this particularly challenging time. “
