Kate Middleton shared new photos of Prince George for his seventh birthday

The Duchess of Cambridge has shared new photos of her oldest son, Prince George, to celebrate his seventh birthday on Wednesday, July 22.

The third in line for the British throne showed an adorable toothed smile to his mother, Kate Middleton, who was behind the camera.

The duchess shared two photos, one of George in a gray polo shirt and one of the young prince in a camouflage shirt while playing outside earlier this month. They were likely taken to the family home in Norfolk, where they have been staying since before the UK was locked up in March.

The photos were noticeably less sincere than in previous years. Last year, the Duchess captured the young prince in mid-laughter as he lay on the grass at Kensington Palace.

The three Cambridge children have experienced their birthdays in Norfolk this year, rather than at their Kensington Palace home in London. Prince Louis had a painting party for his second birthday, while Princess Charlotte, 5, was photographed helping to deliver food packages to nearby vulnerable residents.

In recent years, it has become a tradition for Middleton to take official photos for their children’s birthdays, rather than having a real professional photographer do it.
