Kate Middleton Demonstrates Dedication to Royalty with George, Charlotte and Louis Summer Vacation

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have given their children a sunny stay on the Isles of Scilly, and have been exploring the beautiful island on their bikes.

They couldn’t have chosen a better week for it, with a heat wave in full swing and comfortable temperatures in the 1930s across the UK.

Their holidays are very different from the break they took last year, when they spent two weeks in a stunning £ 27,000 per week villa on the private Caribbean island of Mustique.

They were joined by George, Charlotte and Louis’s grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton, in the vacation home, which features a huge infinity pool and spectacular ocean views.

While they could not have traveled to the island for this year’s getaway, they could have chosen to visit one of the countries on the UK travel list, but opted for something closer to home.

The Cambridge family enjoyed a sunny break in the UK

Sources said Kate and William made the decision as they were concerned about the possible need to quarantine when they returned.

If they had isolated themselves, they would not have been able to carry out their royal duties, which had just started again after closing, and they would not be willing to risk missing commitments.

Kate and William were spotted cycling across the stunning Tresco Island on Thursday.

Kate and Wills have been seen cycling on vacation

A tourist said: “William and Kate were riding their bikes, laughing. They looked so happy enjoying the weather.

“I did a double take. They were very kind and they said hello. “

Scilly has a special place in William’s heart when he went there as a child with brother Harry and his parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

They were very lucky with the weather for their trip

William was photographed as a boy visiting Scilly in June 1989 in shorts and a red sweater on a bike ride with his family.

And rumors spread after their 2011 wedding that he and Kate flew to the destination off the coast of Cornwall.

The couple, both 38, visited in 2016, when William recalled their journey as a seven-year-old boy.

The Cambridge have stayed at their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk.

A source said: “They decided on a quick getaway before the children return to school. They were interested in supporting our travel industry. “

The family is expected to return to Norfolk on Friday.
