Kanye West’s former bodyguard is calling the rapper a “stalker” and is threatening to sue for damages after West accused him of breaking a confidentiality agreement, when the bodyguard called him the “most needy and grumpy client” who have had.
Steve Stanulis spilled on his time protecting West on a podcast in May, and attorneys for the “Jesus is King” star fired a cessation and gave up on Stanulis in early June, threatening to sue him for $ 10 million if he continued to direct its mouth.
The letter claimed that Stanulis had made “false and defamatory” statements on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, and claims that he violated a confidentiality agreement that he allegedly signed in February 2016.
But Page Six has now seen a response from Stanulis’ attorney, who claims that the bodyguard never signed a confidentiality agreement in the first place.
The letter continues: “As such, any effort undertaken by its clients to enforce any alleged ‘confidentiality agreement’ will meet counterclaims, who will seek significant damages, along with court costs and legal fees.”
In a statement to page six, Stanulis’ attorney, Dmitriy Shakhnevich, said: “Our client is being bullied here, and we will not tolerate that.”
Stanulis, who recently released a movie “5th Borough,” co-starring Tara Reid, told us, “I’m not going to let Kanye West and [his wife, Kim Kardashian, whose signature also appeared on the cease and desist] push me just because they are rich and famous. I will not be intimidated by these two egotists!
He said he would never have given up his “First Amendment rights” and is, in fact, “developing a new movie about my experiences as a bodyguard for the stars.” He added: “So if Kanye and Kim want to go to war, they are not the only ones with a strong legal team.”
West’s representatives did not respond to us.
