Kanye West shared a photo on Twitter showing his edited face on Mount Rushmore amid his current presidential bid.
As the musician moves forward with his plans to confront both Donald Trump and alleged Democratic nominee Joe Biden in November, he turned to Twitter to share an optimistic view of that potential presidency with a photo showing his face on the famous American landmark alongside former presidents. Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington.
“2020,” he wrote, along with the edited image.

The tweet comes just a day after the 43-year-old rapper filed a document with the Federal Election Commission that apparently confirms he is making progress with the 2020 presidential campaign he announced on July 4.
“Now we must deliver on America’s promise by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for President of the United States 🇺🇸! # 2020VISION, “he tweeted at the time.
Fox News obtained West’s Candidacy Statement document, which lists his party affiliation as “BDY,” which means “Birthday Party.” The name of your committee is also listed in the document as simply “Kanye 2020”.
The document was archived a day after a Statement of Organization was sent to the FEC under the name West. An organizational statement is a registration form for the political committee authorizing you to raise and spend money. The Declaration of Candidacy document is filed once an individual has activated candidacy status, meaning West has raised more than $ 5,000 through campaign activity, a FEC spokesperson confirmed to Fox News.

“I hereby designate the following political committee appointed as my Lead Campaign Committee for the 2020 elections,” it reads.

The presentation comes immediately after reports that Yeezy’s founder suspended his gossipy campaign. It also comes a day after the Oklahoma State Board of Elections tweeted Wednesday that West rated the Nearest State to be on the ballot. Wednesday was the state’s deadline for unrecognized and independent party presidential candidates to submit candidacy statements with their petitions or filing fees.
West gave the public a rare glimpse of his political thinking in a recent interview with Forbes in which he stated that he no longer supports Trump, a radical change from 2018 when he visited the White House wearing the “Make America Great Again” hat. He also claimed that Biden’s campaign is not “special”.
He also told the magazine that he is in favor of life, the prayer in favor of the school, against the death penalty and that he will appear as an Independent, although he also mentioned the “Birthday Party” in the interview.

West’s presidential dreams also sparked some debate after the rapper took to Twitter to share his pro-life stance, leading to a showdown with Planned Parenthood. But West continued to crush the doubt surrounding his decision, as he posted a video documenting him registering to vote in Wyoming on his Twitter account, which has nearly 30 million followers.
