Kanye West tweets that “he can beat Biden in writing”

Kanye West has found new confidence in his candidacy for the presidency.

He tweeted Saturday: “I can beat Biden in writing” after suggesting earlier this week that he can postpone his campaign until 2024.

West on Wednesday morning posted and then deleted the tweets suggesting he can wait to run for president in 2020.

“# 2020VISION or maybe ’24 I guess all black people should vote for Biden? Do you want me to run in nah? West said before removing the tweet, according to Billboard.

KANYE WEST DOES NOT PRESENT SIGNATURES TO OBTAIN THE PRESIDENTIAL CARRERA BALLOT OF SOUTH CAROLINA

West missed the deadline to appear on state ballots in North Carolina, New Mexico, Texas, Michigan, Florida and Indiana, and failed to obtain enough petition signatures in South Carolina. It is expected to appear on the Oklahoma state ballot, but it is unclear at this time if enough signatures were sent from his home state of Illinois to make the November state ballot.

West’s campaign has sparked some controversy over comments she made during a rally in South Carolina on Sunday, where she falsely claimed that Harriet Tubman “never actually freed the slaves,” adding, “She only caused the slaves went to work for other white people. ” “

West was once an avid supporter of President Trump, even visiting the White House to express his support for the President in October 2018. But in an interview with Forbes magazine earlier this month, West said Trump lost his support when ” learned that he was hiding in the bunker ”during the George Floyd protests in June.

President Trump has said that these claims are false.

West, who announced his candidacy on July 4, said Biden lacked the “special” factor that was needed in a candidate.

“I’m not saying that Trump is on my way, he can be part of my way. And Joe Biden? Come on, man, please. You know? The Obama special. Trump is special. We say Kanye West is special. The United States needs special people to lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden is not special, ”West told Forbes.

West’s wife, television star and makeup mogul Kim Kardashian West, said her husband’s often sporadic tweets are the result of her bipolar disorder.

“As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder,” he said in a statement earlier this week. “Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who knows it knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.”

She said that he is a “brilliant and complicated” person who sometimes struggles with his mental health.

“As a society, we talk about bringing grace to mental health as a whole, but we should also give it to people who live with it when they need it most,” Kardashian West said Wednesday.
