Kanye West Shares ‘Spaceship’ Video 16 Years After Song Released

Kanye West has shared the video for their song ‘Spaceship’, 16 years after the song was initially released.

It is the first time the video has been officially released, after being leaked online years ago.

“NON-RELEASED NAVIGATION VIDEO WITH GLC AND CONS” West tweeted yesterday (June 26), referring to guest appearances from GLC and Consequence. “THIS IS WHAT WE DREAM OF THEN.”

‘Spaceship’ appeared on West’s debut album ‘The College Dropout’ in 2004. It featured a line referring to the time the rapper worked on Gap as a teenager, in which the star rapped: “Let’s go back / Let’s go back to the Gap / Look at my check / There was no scratch.

The video also sees West working at a clothing store. Check it out now.

The video comes after the announcement of West’s new partnership with Gap. He will join the fashion chain to create a new affordable clothing line with his Yeezy brand. Yeezy Gap will be performing in the first half of 2021.

Gap, which has suffered the closure of more than 100 North American stores in recent years, has reportedly agreed to a 10-year deal, with the option to renew after five years. The new collaboration is reportedly expected to generate $ 1 billion (£ 811 million) in annual sales.

The ad follows West revealing his plans to launch his own wellness and lifestyle products. She has filed a Yeezy Beauty trademark, which includes makeup, false eyelashes, face masks, moisturizers, nail polishes, body oils, bath gels, and shaving creams.
