First Ladies are among the most admired women in America.
But it is true that Clinton and the current First Lady, Melania Trump, are also very polarizing (who remembers the jacket “I really don’t care”? …)
And when it comes to opinion-splitting American culture figures, there’s not much more polarization than reality star-turned-tycoon Kim Kardashian.
The prospect of Kardashian becoming First Lady of the United States may seem ridiculous. But a) a reality star is currently president and b) her husband Kanye West has just announced that she is running as an independent candidate for president in 2020.
West’s presidential race is extremely unlikely to be successful. Independent candidates rarely make a big impact at the national level, and their candidacy announcement has missed the deadline for states like New York and Texas, making winning the electoral college unlikely.
But this has not stopped people from wondering what kind of First Lady, Kim Kardashian, would be.
Will you be filming reality shows for the White House? Will you continue your legal career and passion for criminal justice reform? What will she wear for Kanye’s inauguration?
It is safe to say that people have many questions and thoughts about this possibility.
For the most part, people don’t seem to be very happy about it.
In fact, some people threaten at night with leave United States if this fantasy comes true.

But while it can be difficult keeping up with Kim Kardashian, something tells us that these people who threaten to leave won’t have to book plane tickets any time soon.
Because, for now anyway, the West in the White House seems more like a fantasy than a reality.
