Harris was long considered a frontrunner to run for the Biden ticket, but critics suggest her record as a lawyer in California and her controversial debate exchanged with the presumptive Democratic nominee during the primary campaign can be seen as commitments.

Bevan stated that the Biden campaign is “trying to generate tension, excitement about this. That’s why you’re even seeing some Biden people running over disinformation.
