The national picture of college football will begin to gain more clarity on Saturday than the debut of the Big Ten 2020 season. It is thought that No. 5 Ohio State College will compete for a place in the football playoffs, but what about No. 8 Penn State? The Knights ’Lions face a worthy opponent in their opener as they travel to face the Indiana team in the 8-5 season. Penn State will not be the only Pennsylvania State team in the spotlight on Saturday.
No. 3 Notre Dame is playing in Pittsburgh in a critical game for the 4-0 Fighting Irish, who need to start showing more dominance if they continue to hold ohio state in the election.
In total, there are 19 ranked teams on Saturday and four games between ranked opponents – ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and one from AAC. All of that, on a day full of college football jams that will start at noon ET and continue until late at night, like No. 12 B.Y.U. Takes on Texas State in a late night affair.
