Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert Uge grew up in Reagan’s Eugene, so he was very familiar with Marcus Mariota’s office before following in his footsteps as a quarterback at Reagan University.
Added a little extra to Thursday night’s game against the Raiders. While on the second possession of the game Carrie injured his groin and that means Herbert had been dodging all night with one of his remaining idols.
Herbert won in overtime and then reflected on what it meant to be on the same field with Mariota.
