Juelz Santana enjoys his newfound freedom, in part Meek Mill … and now he wants to give back to the residents he met while standing behind bars.
Here’s the deal … Juelz is fresh out of jail after serving 19 months of his 27-month jail term in his airport drug case, and he owes Meek for some smooth sailing.
Our sources tell us that Meek Juelz helped by connecting his wife, Kimbella, with an attorney who helped guide her through the process to ensure everything was worked out. Courts and the prison system can be tricky, and we are told Meek wanted to make sure things work out for Juelz.
The Dipset MC was able to get home immediately and skip the halfway house he was originally destined for. Many half houses are closed due to the pandemic.
Juelz has now been released on parole, which, as we first reported, means he will have to submit to a drug test within 15 days of its release.
Now that he’s out, Juelz tells us he wants to give back to residents by working with nonprofits, whose mission includes bailouts for wrongfully convicted prisoners. Juelz says he also wants to help people in prison find a platform for the music and movie scripts they write in lockup.
On the same front, Juelz says he wrote a ton of new music on the inside, like a script for a TV series. He says he will return to the studio on Monday, but also wants to take time to focus on his family and make up the 19 months he spent time in prison.

Juelz’s wife is happy to have her husband at home … she says it’s surreal to have him back, wake up next to him and see him with her children.
Sounds like Meek’s inspired Juelz … his wife says she and Juelz will be working on reform efforts.
