Wide receiver Josh Gordon has been added back to the Seattle Seahawks’ 53-man roster after being reinstated primarily from his indefinite suspension earlier this month.

Fellow wide receiver Penny Hart was forgiven for clearing the place for Gordon’s addition to the roster.

Gordon is returning to the team after an indefinite suspension that eventually led to a one-year suspension. He was suspended last December for violating both substance abuse and performance-enhancing drugs policy. Gordon’s attorney made a statement that he returned after his brother’s death last November.

Head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Gordon plans to take action against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend.

“We’ll really take him to the practice area and see what he looks like,” Carol said. “He’s working really hard. I’ve been able to watch her workouts twice on video to see if she’s in really good shape. It’s really big and strong too so we’re excited to see how it does. We are planning the week as it is an opportunity to contribute so we will see. We will see the whole thing of good hope and thought and where it sits close. ”

Govidan has been allowed to workout with the team in the last two weeks after clearing the COVID-19 intake test. The first day of eligibility for his study will be Wednesday.

Seahawks claimed an apology from the New England Patriots to England last November. He appeared in just five games for the team before the suspension and caught seven passes for 139 yards during his time with the team.

“I’m anxious to see that,” Carol said. “He’s a really impressive athlete, a big kid, you know, and moving forward very well and so beautifully. I’m anxious to see how deftly he feels wise with everyone else. He jumped last year and it was immediately clear he could compete. I would be surprised if it’s not like this, because his workouts look pretty good, but we’ll see what happens. “

Hart has appeared in 11 games for Seattle this season, mainly on special teams. He caught a pass for three yards on his only goal.
