Jonathan Van Ness Just Got A Lob Haircut, And I’m In Love

This weekend, Jonathan Van Ness said goodbye to his long hair and a huge big “hello!” to the lob life. That and that, folks: Queer Eye & aposs resident groomer got a short haircut, and to absolutely no & aposs surprise, it seems beautiful. (Like in, knock-when-I-saw-it kind of gorgeous.)

The Fab Five & aposs beloved hair expert revealed his new cut on Instagram in an adorable selfie taken with the woman behind the magic: hairstylist Sherene from Arté Salon in New York City. The photo features JVN sticking some of his hair behind his ear to show off the cut, with Sherene smiling next to him in a polka dot mask and bright blue eyeliner.

“Got a new cut by @sherenethequeen that I use with Sherene during my nice time back on @artesalonnyc,” reads the title.

From the look of the photo, Van Ness had cut off several inches, looked like he was using his hair to reach the middle of his back – and now & aposs just his pelvis. As before but why he chose for short, well, there & aposs a solid chance it has to do with how hot and humid the weather & aposs has been this summer; maybe he just wanted to take down the charge for a lighter and fresher feeling.

He & aposs clearly did not just want to be short in the summer – some may remember that fellow Fab Five member Antoni Porokwsi recently debuted with a dramatic buzz cut, which fans went wild about.

Needless to say, we & aposre obsessed with JVN & aposs short hair transformation and can & apost wait to see how he continues with styling. In the meantime, check out his secret to perfectly dry waves.
