Earlier Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher is stepping in temporarily for host Chris Harrison on the upcoming 16th season of the ABC show.
The change comes from a trip Harrison recently took to drop off his son at college in Texas. Harrison on Tuesday shared a photo via Instagram of himself with his son on his trip to Texas Christian University (see it below). The trip requires Harrison to be self-isolated for 14 days before being allowed back into the show’s quarantine bubble.
No one is commenting, but I hear the temporary host switch, first reported by Us Weekly, was planned, and Fletcher had quarantined to be ready to step in. She’s expected to emcee the show for a few episodes before Harrison returns.
The Bachelorette competitors and crew were required to quarantine for 14 days at a resort in La Quinta, CA, before the shooting began.
Fletcher starred in season 12 of The Bachelorette where they accepted a proposal from Jordan Rodgers during the final. The couple were set to get married in June but were forced to cancel their marriage due to the coronavirus pandemic.
