There was no shortage of drama in Baltimore ahead of the Ravens-Titans game.
The Titans apparently annoyed Ravens before the AFC showdown by marching on the midfield logo in front of the home team, resulting in Verbal attitudes between teams According to multiple reports, there was a fierce confrontation between Ravens coach John Harby and McCullum Butler in the corner of the Titans. Harbo and Titans coach Mike Varabel also exchanged words and was separated by officials.
CBS cameras caught Butler and Harbin screaming at each other.
“Oh oh. Midfield logo play here at M&T Bank Stadium, ” Mike Gerafolo of the NFL Network wrote on Twitter. “The Titans came out and went right to midfield on the logo. John Harbaugh came out all the way and took offense. Mike Varabel and Harbaugh then chatted passionately. Throw the record !!! ”
The Ravens players were not on the field when the Titans met at the Midfield logo. Athletic’s Jeff Zrabiek wrote on Twitter. “The Ravens coach was there and Harboff exchanged two words with Butler. They eventually parted ways but then Warebell came out. The refs were between Varebel and Harbo. “
Butler was screaming at the Baltimore sideline and going “nose-to-nose” with Herbaux.
“This is the second time the Titans have beaten Harbaugh at Ravens’ stadium,” Zrebeck added.
“Remember, the Titans also met on the Ravens logo at the M&T Bank Stadium for the playoff game in January.” He wrote. “Some Titans fans say they always do that regardless of the stadium. Either way, Harboff seemed to take offense. “
